Signal Conditioner

Description
The Signal Conditioner module has a control panel
with BNC connectors for input and output, trimpots for current and gain
adjustment, banana sockets for gain and voltage monitoring, Analog
ammeter for monitoring the current and LEDs (power on indicators).
The sensor input to the module should be variable
resistance type like RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector). A current source is
provided to generate an output voltage, which is ac coupled (through high pass
filter) to the Signal Conditioning amplifier. The amplifier has a bandwidth of
15MHz and the gain of the amplifier can be varied from 0 to 100. The current can
be varied from 100uA to 50mA independently for each channel.
