ACMSP
Description
ACMSP,
an on-board LRU, facilitates the pilot to select the
modes of operation of autopilot, through illuminated
push button switches and ARINC429 interface and gives
visual display of the status of Autopilot. It also
displays the status signals received from Servo Interface
Unit.
ACMSP
is used as:
-
Autopilot Control panel to engage the Autopilot
basic stabilization,
-
Mode
Selector to engage/disengage AFCS operating
modes,
-
Annunciators to display the AFCS failures, operating
modes engagement and markers.
ACMSP
is located on the Central Pedestal in the cockpit.
