Two Axis Gimbal

    

Description

The precision pointing system is a Electromechanical stabilized platform with two degrees of freedom (i.e elevation and azimuth). The Positional accuracy of the system is 2 mrad and jitter stabilization is up to 50 micro radians. This unit has a CCD Camera, LRF, Electro-optic payloads with Video Tracker and Servo electronics. The Video Tracker is used for automatic target acquisition and tracking. The system uses state of the art DSP based digital control electronics. Complete controller station and the payloads can be supplied along with Operator's Control Panel. This system can also be used for pointing systems such as antenna, telescope etc.
